The North Trip was beyond amazing. If you haven't been to the Lake District, you need to make sure it's on your bucket list. It will change your life.
We started off in Liverpool where Mel, Kar, Naomi, and Sid pretended to be the Beatles.
Manda loves ferris wheels. Everywhere.
It's real windy in Liverpool
We love to see the temple! It's beautiful in Preston!
Wardies for life.
The church history tour through Preston was great, but cold.
A 3 hour walk in the rain through the Lake District countryside is amazing, especially while having deep chats.
Visiting the Jerwood Center where we got to see the original books and manuscripts of classics like Frankenstein, Wordsworth, etc. was a highlight
When you go on a boat tour through Ambleside, bundle up.
Scotland is very "Scottish" and quite charming. The Elephant House is where JK Rowlings wrote Harry Potter.
Visiting Tom Riddle's (Voldemort's) grave the night before Halloween is terrifying and epic
Getting matching Christmas sweaters and wearing them to Edinburgh Castle is an obvious necessity
When your tour guide puts on a horse head, it's natural
They do indeed wear kilts and play bagpipes in Scotland
Visiting Voldemort's grave 3 times during your short stay is probably a good idea
If you run into some animals on the street, it's probably just your friends on Halloween
Sign up for Dumbledore's army in the Elephant House
Playing on Hadrian's Wall makes you have flashbacks to the hot sweaty days in Rome
Fountains Abbey is a surprising highlight
Mel likes to stand in water….nobody knows
Manda loves bridges, as always
If you propose to Cat, you are facing hard core rejection
It was a lovely trip up North. England continues to amaze us every day.
