London Week 2

Life doesn't seem to get any less crazy. If we aren't in school or doing homework, we are out exploring London. Here's what we learned this week:

Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card

The Museum of London is great! One of our favorite museums ever

The best part of Tower Hill is seeing the Crown Jewels but the rest is pretty neat too

The required London Walks actually take you to amazing places. The memorial in Postman's Park is a hidden gem

Jump on the chance to take a stroll through the English countryside- it's worth it

Playing on ruins of the thousand year old Eynsford Castle is fun.

We miss horses.

Mel missed the memo..

You're never too old to zip line. This is our 71-year old guide, Brother Chittock

Stop at the Hop Shop and try Lavender ice cream but maybe not Ginger Beer

39 Steps is well... interesting. Still don't know what the 39 Steps are.

Stonehenge is a bunch of old rocks..

Mel has the best ideas for pictures.. Not. Epic fail

Numbers 1 through 15 are the best!

Salisbury Cathedral is gorgeous

Monks are very talented and patient. It took them a week to make this out of sand and it was gathered up later that day

We miss Kevin.

You don't have to be a monk to hang out in Salisbury's cloister

Evans really is everywhere

Mel's new favorite place is Stourhead.

Pride and Prejudice is the best movie. Can you see Keira Knightley running across this bridge? The pouring rain only added to the greatness. Also Manda wants to be proposed to here- she has an obsession with bridges

Next time you go to Stourhead, bring your Mr. Darcy

You aren't allowed to climb in the niches

The best part of the Jane Austen Center is dressing up

Again, the best part of the Fashion Museum in Bath is dressing up

We wouldn't want to bathe in the Roman Baths but it sure is pretty
