Bussing it

So we spent a lot of time on the bus... It was a great bonding experience and we love our Dutch bus driver Wilheim. Here's what we learned

Karli has the best stories- she can provide entertainment and laughter for hours.

Whoever bought Toy Story 3 at a gas station was genius

Hearing everyone's first kiss story and about their love life is a bonding experience. It helps the time pass super fast

The 15 minutes rest stops are a mad rush for chocolate, the bathroom, and a charger for the computer (that's Mandas hangout)

Willhem our Dutch bus driver loves pointing out details along our ride, he is the greatest and welcomes you with a wink every time you get back on the bus

You have high hopes for letter and journal writing but it doesn't get done

We all look like hobos

Take in the beautiful countryside- it never gets old

Bring lots of snacks- you'll want them. You would think 8 candy bars would last the whole day, but really just to the next stop for Mel

The walk to the tiny bathroom is the walk of shame

Manda has a hard time sitting still and didn't fall asleep once

Planning a permanent future with your new study abroad family is too exciting- future neighbors, travel buddies, roommates, bridesmaids, in-laws, etc.

It's a frantic dash to see how much of the videos you can get done with the limited battery

Heads Up is a great game. Should have thought of that earlier

You may think you have lots to do but you definitely will be bored

Despite what you may think, quarter does not start with a C

It is indeed possible to drive a huge bus onto the Chunnel

The best way to enter England is by blasting One Direction
