When in Rome

Rome... oh how we love you #saidnooneever #romeisoverrated #romesistheworst Jokes. In all reality Rome was a blast. It was a crazy adventure and we loved seeing everything, but most of all we loved the random disasters and spending time with some amazing people. Even though it was dirty and we were always tired and hungry, we never stopped laughing. Here are some of the things we've learned:

Ryanair is the worst- Sarah has to "be pregnant" to get on the plane

It is always a good idea to re-enact the Lizzie McGuire movie. Also it was probably a bad idea for Lizzie to run off with some random Italian man.

The Pantheon is closed all the time I think they purposely wanted to keep out the 55 loud Americans, but it is also incredible. 

Get Gelato, pizza, and pasta everywhere you go (White has the best gelato). Fat camp starts once we get to London.

The door to the balconies fall off so practice crawling through windows.

Hanging out behind windows is a blast

Nothing says annoying Americans like a group of 55 BYU students

Taking cute pictures is a struggle. Hobos for life

We need to buy outfits like the Vatican guards

The water fountains around Rome are adorable and amazing. Plus they save you 5 euros.

The sunsets are beyond amazing- no filter. 

The Colosseum is a highlight- the shoulder pic was awesome

Our dream is to go to Rainbow Magicland.

Stafford is a great bag boy

Killer Karli is on the loose- watch out if you are her roommate, you might not make it through the night...

Rome is boiling Lava hot

The Trevi Fountain is kind of faulty- our wishes haven't come true yet, but fingers are still crossed. It is also a good idea to make multiple wishes.

Jeep club exists in Italy

Attending church is Rome was great. Wardies for life

The churches are amazing.

The Bean Museum in Provo is just as good as the Vatican and they let you check stuff out.

Cat has a tail.

Sneaking pictures of the Sistine Chapel is worth it.

Cat looks like all the creepy guys in the museums.

Definitely hike to the top of the dome of St. Peters. It is worth it (600 stairs later..).

Shoulder pics are always a good idea

All the cokes have different names on them- which is adorable

Roommates are awesome

Cramped bus rides are sweaty and hilarious.

Wifi is scarce so when the opportunity arises everyone gathers.

Most of all you become great friends with all those you are lucky enough to share the next 4 months with!
