Florence

Leaving Rome was very exciting because we were headed to Firenze/Florence! Florence was good to us- maybe a little too good to us. Might as well spend our lives savings all in one spot right?

We were even greeted that night by an amazing rain storm aka Mandas favorite weather. Here are the things we've learned:

Florence is much cleaner and safer than Rome

Eating at a bar is a definite must. Crazy British people wearing underwear on their heads or lifting their shirt up and dancing around is the perfect entertainment for dinner.

Avoid ordering a pizza without the sauce. It creates the awkward situation for asking for it on the side

Walking home in the pouring rain is hysterical and you receive priceless looks when you refuse to buy an umbrella from sellers #wetrats

If you try to watch a movie you'll be asleep in the first 5 minutes and you may never succeed no matter how many times you attempt it..

Hostels are great fun

The Cathedral and duomo are absolutely breathtaking

Bartering in the Central Market is a must - don't let street vendors rip you off :)

Buying a satchel and leather coat is worth it- #YOFO- you only Florence once

Order 7 Caesar salads

Shop at the Central Market. It is worth running across town to get a leather bag for half the price of another market

If you have the chance to splurge on anything, make it Italian leather in Florence. They are all gorgeous!

We guess it isn't worth €15,00 to see Michaelangelo's David

Watch out if you are blond Americans- random men will ask to take a picture with you. But then again you may find an Italian boyfriend

The trek to see the view overlooking Florence from Michaelangelo's Garden is a must do. Seriously one of the prettiest things we've ever seen

McDonald's wifi does not work

Avoid Creepy Cupid guy

People who want you to buy their stuff start professing their love, calling you the Charlie's angels, Jennifer Lopez and Barbie 

Karli is going to name her child Florence someday

Cathryn found the wall of China in Italy
